GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) is one of several synthetic met-enkephalin analogs that include unnatural D-amino acids. These peptides were developed to stimulate the release of growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. GHRP-2 is believed to act on both pituitary and hypothalamic sites.
