Lyophilised peptides
Lyophilised peptides will remain stable for around 30 days at room temperature. If they are not going to be used within this time then they must be stored in a freezer at a temperature of around -20c where they will remain stable for approximately 48 months.
Please ensure that your freezer is not ‘frost free’ or ‘auto defrosting’ as constant freeze/thaw cycles will degrade the peptides over time.
Bacteriostatic water
Store bacteriostatic water at room temperature (between 20 and 25C), in the dark. Once it’s been opened, it should be used within a month.
Reconstituted peptides
Once the peptides have been mixed or reconstituted into a liquid solution they must be refrigerated at a temperature of between 2-8c. If stored at room temperature they may begin to degrade after as little as 24 hours. Therefore we recommend storing them in the fridge as soon as possible after mixing. Stored in the fridge they will remain potent for around 8 weeks before beginning to degrade.
If you intend to keep the reconstituted peptides in a fridge for an extended period, many researchers prefer to draw up the peptides into a number of syringes, where each syringe contains a single dose. They then freeze all the syringes and simply defrost one prior to actual use.
Combining peptides
The combination of peptides, often referred to as peptide stacks or cocktails, is an approach used to enhance the overall effectiveness of each peptide. When stacking peptides, try to avoid peptides that have the same side effects.
Here are a few examples of peptides that are sometimes used together for synergistic effects:
1. GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6) and CJC-1295:
- GHRP-6 stimulates the release of growth hormone, and CJC-1295 extends the release of growth hormone.
- Used for muscle growth, fat loss, and overall anti-aging benefits.
2. Ipamorelin and Mod GRF (1-29):
- Ipamorelin stimulates GH release, and Mod GRF (1-29) enhances pulsatile release of GH.
- Used for muscle growth, fat loss, and overall anti-aging benefits.
3. Hexarelin and Ipamorelin:
- Both stimulate GH release but through different pathways.
- Combined for enhanced growth hormone release.
4. TB-500 and BPC-157:
- TB-500 promotes healing and recovery, and BPC-157 has anti-inflammatory effects.
- Combined for joint health and injury recovery.
5. Selank and Semax:
- Both are nootropic peptides with potential anxiolytic and cognitive-enhancing effects.
- Used for cognitive support and stress reduction.
